9) Cincinnati Bengals (6-9-1) – Jalen Tabor CB Florida
Bengals fans probably won’t be happy to see another first round corner. However, that’s what the team’s draft playbook entails. They like to take corners early on, and let them play out their contracts. They’re at that cross roads once again. Dre Kirkpatrick is a free agent, and it’s questionable whether or not he’s worth bringing back. Meanwhile, Adam Jones simply cannot stay out of trouble. They could very well look to Jalen Tabor to fill their need at the position.
Tabor is an impressive and complete corner. He has the size and ball skills to make plays at the NFL level. Some people think Tabor is falling, but a solid draft process should send him right back up the board. Tabor has a very strong track record, which will be his strongest advocate for his draft status.
10) Buffalo Bills (7-9) – Corey Davis WR Western Michigan
The Bills could very easily take a quarterback here. However, they would be a lot wiser building around Tyrod Taylor. It’s hard to see them building around one of the young passers in the class. The team isn’t all that far from contending, honestly. They seem to think Taylor isn’t a great passer, but they’ve also failed to surround him with great talent. Adding a competent number two receiver would certainly help them out in the long run.
Corey Davis would certainly be a solid number two option. Davis has consistently produced at a high level for three years now. Granted, he’s done so against mediocre competition. He has an excellent combination of height, weight, and speed, which won’t change based on who he’s playing against. Taylor would be a lot better with him on the team.
