It’s pretty obvious that Defensive End Jadeveon Clowney has a chip on his shoulder, even though he is considered one of the top players in this year’s draft class. Many have questioned his actual love for the game and whether he’ll give 100 percent at the next level.

After an impressive Pro Day on Wednesday, Clowney was asked by reporters about the Houston Texans and the No. 1 overall pick and if they bypass him, how would he react?

“I have to make them miserable,” he said with a smile.

Houston is looking at a few options for the upcoming Draft:

1. They could select Clowney and take a quarterback later on in the NFL Draft.

2. They could bypass Clowney for a quarterback; most likely Johnny Manziel or Blake Bortles.

3. They could trade the pick.

Two of those three options don’t include Clowney going to the Texans. It would be an interesting paring with him and J.J. Watt on opposite sides of the defensive line if it happens. It would surely be an upgrade assuming Clowney is as good as advertised and taped.

Texans head coach Bill O’Brien is not giving any hints as to who could be the top pick, saying that the No. 1 pick is still “wide open.”

Clowney surely made a statement on Wednesday.
