Julius Peppers ever since coming into the league in 2002 has been labeled as a “freak of nature.” Even at the age of 34 and going into his 13th NFL season, the Green Bay Packers agree as they signed him to a free-agent contract this off-season. One of his teammates Mike Daniels, who is 10 years to Peppers‘ junior, believes wholeheartedly in that fact.
“You’re going to hear me talking about Julius Peppers all off-season,” he told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Julius Peppers is by every means by the word a freak of nature. I don’t think age is going to affect him too much. And he’s got some pretty good players lined up with him. Our front seven is very good. When you add the element of Julius Peppers to that. The sky’s the limit in my opinion.”
So, we know Daniels is a fan of Julius Peppers. Last year, Peppers numbers dipped to 7.5 sacks, his lowest since 2007. He spent the first eight years with the Carolina Panthers and the last four with the Chicago Bears. In 186 games, Peppers has recorded 118.5 quarterback take downs.
